Sentencing for the TikTok star convicted of killing his wife in their high-rise apartment in East Village has been postponed until September.
If you recall, Ali Nasser Abulaban, who went by JinnKid on TikTok and other social media platforms, was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder for the Oct. 21, 2021 deaths of his estranged wife, Ana Abulaban, 28, and her friend, Rayburn Barron, 29.
The sentencing date had been scheduled for June 26, but the judge approved Abulaban’s request to have it pushed back to September. The postponement may be linked to his decision to appeal the verdict.
Pics are of the couple and The Spire apartment complex in downtown San Diego. They lived on the 35th-floor unit.
The trial, while heartbreakingly sad, had moments of engaging, voyeuristic drama.
